In the forest with Linda, Naturopath, Forager, Mother on her journey of helping others and many other things (: but why do we need to name essence, let the "bits and bobs" spread their wings.
The patterns we lay, gifts of sticks on a tree; start tracing back to the creators thoughts of why they placed the leaves, how they did...
…the spores of the mushrooms shaking out in the breeze, the mix of mist, dew, cloud, and a setting late afternoon golden orb and with bare branches threading the ceiling when we look up like delicate chandeliers, while the tree trunks are caked in carpet the most luxurious emerald green, armchairs inviting us in, gratitude for this soft but strong tender tank of gold, brown and green.
The nettles burst out luscious and the whole forest screams! you can feeeeeeeel the happiness of the plants there yelping in ferocious joy after the drought of the summer and now this wet n warm, time for the organisms to show their royalty.
And linda - matching it with her light-heartednesss and laughter, release…
Smelling the mushrooms with generational wisdom knowing when to pick, to smell, to gaze from a distance or shake the spores off and watch them seed:
Turkey tails to magic mushrooms, how the eyeballs hunt for treasure some like sea anemones on the walls of a broken tree or the silver lightning magic tiny one that gleams platinum a unicorn poking out to just be:
It feels so healthy to knock up these neurons in your brain, eyes dancing to see what powowhees up, stretching like muscles, alivening.
The smell of damp and fresh and soil and greeen never felt deeper and the sun behind the grey dipping out to tease.
To be in play, be silly, nature has no judgement. when the way you touch and weave becomes your shared language of animacy, rather than the need to speak.
...Then back home. Time for nettle tea.
